An editorial, not a store — and not a data business.
GunNomad is a static editorial site. Nothing is sold here, there are no accounts and no checkout, and we never sell personal information. This page says plainly what little data is involved when you read the site or take the Sunday Dispatch.
What reaches us
Basic technical logs. Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That is the extent of the data involved in a visit. If you write to us, your message arrives as an ordinary email and is kept only as correspondence.
The Sunday Dispatch
If you subscribe to the Dispatch, we ask for your email address — and signup is double opt-in: we send a confirmation email first, and your address joins the list only when you click its link. We run the list with Resend, our email provider, which processes your address to deliver the Dispatch and to handle unsubscribes. Every Dispatch carries an unsubscribe link, and one click removes you. The list is used for the Dispatch only — never sold, and never shared for anyone else's marketing.
Polls and the quiz
The Nomad Poll and the Nomad Quiz run entirely in your browser. Your vote lives in this browser only — exactly as the poll itself says — and no tally is transmitted to us.
Cookies
This site sets only strictly necessary cookies from Cloudflare, for security and bot protection. We run no analytics trackers and no advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and post a notice on the site before any new cookies start, and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Links out
Our stories link to makers, shops and other sites. Once you leave GunNomad, that site's own privacy policy governs what it collects.
Your rights
You may ask what correspondence of yours we hold, and ask us to delete it, at any time by writing to [email protected]. California residents have the same rights under the CCPA/CPRA; because we never sell or share personal information, no opt-out link is required, but the same inbox reaches us for any request.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Effective November 1, 2026.
